WHO WE ARE  מי אנחנו

׳סיני׳ היא קהילה יהודית פלורליסטית וליברלית, הממוקמת בלב תל אביב. הקהילה שלנו שייכת לתנועה המסורתית והיא שוויונית מבחינה מגדרית. אנחנו מייחלות/ים ליצור דרך רוחנית, סובלנית אך עמוקה להוויה היהודית שעל־ידיה אנחנו מקדשות/ים את חיינו. בנוסף לתפילות המתנהלות באווירה ביתית ומוזיקלית בשבתות (שישי בערב ובשבת בבוקר) ובחגים, אנחנו לומדות/ים ומפרשות/ים את המקורות, מארחות/ים טקסי בת־ ובר־מצוה ואירועים חברתיים אחרים. אנחנו גאות/ים להיות קהילה מגוונת, הכוללת צעירות/ים ומבוגרות/ים, יחידות/ים ומשפחות, נשים וגברים, סטרייטיות/ים וחברות/י הקהילה הלהטב״קית, צברים ועולות/ים ממדינות מרחבי העולם כולו, ׳דוסים׳, חילוניות/ים, וחבר׳ה מחפשות/ים או כאלה שסתם ׳על רצף׳.

Kehilat Sinai is a pluralistic, liberal Jewish community located in the heart of Tel Aviv. Our shul is fully egalitarian and it belongs to the Masorti Movement. We are seeking a meaningful, tolerant yet deep way of being Jewish. We wish to sanctify our lives through an inclusive and spiritual interpretation of our wisdom literature. In addition to our cozy and musical davenings every Shabbat (Friday night & Saturday morning) and Holidays, we learn and reinterpret our ancient sources, we organize and host bat- and bar mitzvah ceremonies as well as other communal activities. We are proud of our diverse, colorful community, whose members include young and old, individuals and families, women and men, straight and LGBTQI, native-born and immigrant Israelis who arrive from all corners of the world, observant people, secular folks and seekers who do not wish to identify with any mainstream approach.
